Preschool Themes
- This is not a boxed curriculum. I created each theme pulling from many different resources. I put much effort in making sure each theme is fun and engaging for all students.
- Themes run for two weeks each and repeat every two years.
- During each theme a letter and number (1-20) are studied.
- Activities done during the day relate to our current theme.
- Kindergarten readiness skills are taught through all themes.
- Communication books are sent
home telling about your child's day. I also write on a white board as
to what we did as a class and post pictures on a closed Facebook group.
- A calendar and newsletter are sent home monthly to inform of preschool happenings.
- Conferences are offered twice a year for new families and once a year for returning families.
- In the winter we have a family holiday concert and end the year with a preschool graduation.
